Using up my lamb leg steaks

StopitnTidyup · 09/08/2025 15:23

So I took out two lamb steaks from the freezer for my children this morning (I'm vegetarian) but they are now out for the night and I don't think the lamb wil last until tomorrow in the fridge.

As a vegetarian I can be a bit clueless so does anyone have any smart ideas/recipes how to cook them up tonight for the children tomorrow? I can only think of lamb stew but they won't be keen.. thank you

Marinade (harissa with a bit of yogurt and lemon would be nice but whatever you have in will be fine). Grill, rest, and pop in the fridge. Tomorrow slice and serve in pittas with whatever salad options you have and garlic/chilli sauces to taste

Slice very thinly, toss briefly in oil in a very hot wok, remove, refrigerate, then continue with a stir-fry tomorrow.
And tell the kids to give you plenty of warning about their plans !
