I have the above and want to make a slaw/salad fo eat as a side dish. I don't eat onions, mayo or salad cream.

What can I use to dress the mixture to make it less bland!

The one I make is an Ocado recipe, which is not only very tasty, it’s also really easy.

Google ‘Crunchy Asian Slaw ocado.com’ and you should get there. For some reason I can’t post a link, but keep getting an error message.

(Don’t worry if you haven’t got red cabbage as well as white - it will work just as well)

Tahini?

I’m a big fan of home made slaw and store in a clip lock box and take out what I need. It makes a huge quantity for a very small outlay and I prefer
it to shop bought which I find too creamy. Easy for everyone to just have their preference too.

It keeps fresh for ages and can also be used for stir fry.

Asian dressing is great for either the slaw or stir fry. Make up a quantity and store in fridge. Stir into the
slaw 10 minutes or so before
serving.

Shop bought Caesar or French dressing works well as does hot honey and chilli dressing (Sainsburys)

I use a mixture that I learned from a Palestinian friend. Thick or Greek yoghurt, a few tbspns of tahini, olive oil, lemon, garlic , and herbs (coriander or mint) if you like. And sea salt. It isn’t very Asian but makes a lovely slaw. Doesn’t have to have the garlic. Also works as a great dip or dressing for kebabs and stuff.
