Roast broccoli in AF - how?

I've tried variations of temp. & time in the AF, but can't get it right.
I've RTFM, & checked on-line.
Last attempt looked OK, but the little flowery bits were like sand & I had to spit & rinse my mouth out.
I don't have this problem with cauliflower, so suggestions please .

You dont have this problem with cauliflower because cauliflower is the right vegetable to use for this. I have long given up 'roasting' broccoli, it doesnt work.

And it doesnt work in a normal oven either.

i've only managed it by using frozen broccoli in the oven, maybe that will work in AF ?
spinkle oil over it, season, for not long on quite high...

I do it at 180 for 5 mins, fairly small florets and it works fine. I don't use oil.

When I oven roast broccoli it has be tiny bits and I cook them til they are just bout to burn to a crisp. Some pieces get sacrificed to the charcoal to make sure everything is tasty. I also mainly used frozen

I steam mine lightly before putting in the air fryer.

Well, my new method is to put them in olive oil and put them in a really hot wok, so you get some charring of them but not too much that it turns bitter. Then still a bit crunchy.
