Block batch cooking

I had those stocked blocks for a while and thought they were a very good idea but sustainably not effective for me cost wise. I'm going to try making my own. So far, I'm going to do some blocks of squash and carrot soup, lentil bolognaise and bean no meat chili con carne. We aren't veggie but my daughter can be a bit funny about meat although she will eat it.

Has anyone else done this and got good ideas of what to make?

Also, I would like to make easy puddings to freeze but am at a loss apart from cookies.

I batch cook curries too. All different types. And Dahls.

I usually cook enough for the meal we are having and 2 freezer portions.

Does pasta freeze OK? I've done Tina pasta bake in the past but my kids don't like it defrosted
