Have you tried Mob? Is it worth it?

Have you tried Mob, the recipe app? Is it really worth £5.99 a month? The recipes do look nice I have to admit, although seems pricey when you could just get other recipes online?
Who are the chefs, are they regular people or actual professional chefs?
I know there is a free trial but it is only for 5 days and knowing me I would forget to cancel if I wanted to in time.

Quite a lot of the recipes on their website are available for free.

I really like them (though I got a cheap early subscriber deal) and pre-app also purchased lots of their books, but you may as well try before you buy!

I subscribed a couple of years ago at a hefty discount but cancelled it when it expired. I didn’t think it was worth it.

I subscribed for a year, when I got a discount. I don’t think it was worth it.

I was interested in the “batch cooking” recipes (one recipe four meals) but the emails always arrived at a funny time on a Sunday, when I’d already shopped for the week ( appreciate this is was a me problem). I didn’t find anything particularly inspiring so conversely didn’t make best use of the website.

5 o’clock Apron on instagram was one of the Mob Chefs, I’m not sure if she still actively is. Not many others I recognized but don’t think I’m the demographic they are wanting to appeal to.
