Is this safe to eat?

Last night, I made a huge ratatouille but somehow forgot to put the leftovers in the fridge and left it in the covered saucepan overnight. Would it be safe enough to eat? DH says Yes as it’s just vegetables but he ignores all best before and use by dates so I’d just like a second opinion please!

I would.

I would too. It’s all veg and as long as it’s reheated thoroughly it’ll be fine.

I would totally eat it. Might not feed it to someone vulnerable though.

Totally, without a second thought.

It’ll be fine just heat throughly. My mum always used to leave beef stew and chilli on the hob overnight and reheat the next day and everyone was always ok

I would

I also ignore dates and go with my nose

Definitely fine. We even leave it two nights on the hob, but our kitchen rarely gets above 16c.
