Air fryer recipe blogs and websites

Any recommendations for your favourites?

I bought an air fryer yesterday and cooked a pretty lousy meal. I googled a recipe but the backstory took 20 mins to read before I waded through the blurb, photos and ads and finally found the recipe y which time I’d lost interest.

Or… any actual physical paper books you’d recommend?

TIA.

I'd be interested in this too. I've had mine a couple of weeks and have managed a couple of freezer bits, but hoping to do so much more with it.

I've joined various FB groups, but they are all very US based and seemed to just post links to the type of site you refer to, endlessly. The temperatures are all wrong and 'cooking' seems to involve just opening as many jars and packets as you can find and bunging it all in together...

https://amzn.eu/d/aOEnNY6 ~ I was well and truly influenced into buying the book as I follow her on social media, but it’s actually quite good! Got it for DF for Father’s Day (but took pics of the recipes I wanted to try) and apparently he’s liked all of them so far - I’ve liked the ones I’ve tried too!

Oooh - thank you! I’ll buy the book as I have an Amazon’s voucher to use anyway.

Also - DS is about to cook a pizza. Do you need to heat the air fryer up in advance? I say yes, he says no.

My instruction booklet for my ninja says you don't need to pre heat

oncemoreuntothebeachdearfriends · 16/07/2025 15:18

Pre-heating depends on the make/model - read the manual

Philips have an app that might be useful called Home ID

LadyBanana · 16/07/2025 16:36

The instructions don’t specify to pre-heat but there is a pre-heat option. Anyway, the pizza was very nice.

Also look for the 'jump to recipe' link which is at the top of many food blog pages now. Avoids the preamble and skips to the good bit...
