Raisin obsession!!

My 2 year old is completely obsessed with raisins, she asks for them morning day and night! She has a couple of the mini snack boxes a day. But just checking if I ever get in desperate need and she wants more, that raisins are OK as a snack. Obviously her meals are balanced throughout the day

Raisins and other dried fruits are quite damaging to teeth as they are higher in sugar than fresh fruit and also, stick to teeth.

They’re fine in moderation OP but unfortunately as they can stick to children’s teeth and due to their sugar content, dentists do advise to limit them as a snack. Dried mulberries are the lowest in sugar content but not sure how easily they are to get!

She's obsessed because raisins are very high in sugars, and sugar is pretty addictive. I'm not one of those 'Fruit is like eating Haribo' loons, but in dried fruit the sugars are much more concentrated. A two year-old shouldn't be eating loads of them.
