Can’t get off the sofa snacks/dinners

Recently Bereaved and am struggling with days where I can’t function and even making a cuppa is a struggle.

on those days I eat anything that’s takes no longer than five mins to pop in the small air fryer and dive back to sofa and wait for the ping. So I eat a lot of pies, chicken dippers and scampi, with nothing to go with it.

I’d welcome any ideally nutritious ideas that can be bunged in the air fryer pdq.

TIA

I’m sorry for your loss Flowers

Jacket potato with baked bean. Zap it in the microwave for 5 mins then in the air fryer to finish off whilst you zap the beans. Carbs & protein, and pretty filling.

Beans on toast.

What about some cartons of fresh soup? Covent Garden ones are quite often on offer and if you pick one with lentils in you get some of your 5 a day and protein.

You could stick a salmon/cod fillet in the air fryer whilst a jacket is doing in the microwave.

Is grabbing a couple of ready meals for the freezer an option? Just so you have an emergency option.

Sorry for your loss.
Could you get some ready meals in from somewhere like Cook which are like homemade?
Do you have any family or friends around? If I was your friend, I would want to know how are feeling and would drop off a meal or two. Can you message a friend and have a chat?

I toss tenderstem broccoli in oil, sprinkle with salt and bung in the air fryer for 10 mins. Around halfway through bung a small salmon fillet in with a squirt of lemon juice.

You can buy trays of ready chopped Mediterranean veg in the supermarket. Just chuck in the air fryer with halloumi, chilli flakes, season and spray with oil. Takes one minute hands on time 10 mins cooking time and offers more nutrition than a chicken dipper. (Not that there is anything wrong with a chicken dipper)
