Meals with no kitchen?!

We are having building work done and will be losing our kitchen for a while. We will have a makeshift area with microwave and airfryer. Help me with meal inspiration! Minimal washing up (as it will be in the bath!)

I think there will be lots of microwave rice pouches….

We very rarely use oven but I’d buy a hot plate and utilise slow cooker or and instant pot and meals would be same as usual really

It’s not so much the cooking, it’s the washing up that’s going to be the killer!

As I said earlier - go paper and wood and dump.

No its not nice eating of paper plates, but Id rather that then a bath load of dishes needing washing.

I hate even washing bathroom soap dishes and toothbrush holders in the bathroom, washing plates and cutlery - go the easy route

We got some bamboo plates which are nice and sturdy in comparison to paper ones. Not that much more cost wise, bamboo cutlery too. Used picnic plates for stuff that’d wash easily, enamel mugs for tea and packed away the China.

Get a Crimpet (different sorts for toasties and wraps).
