Sainsburys Lemon Meringue Trifle. Help!

I've lost the recipe and I'm making it for a meal tomorrow.

It's from a Sainsbury's magazine that's at least ten years old, I'd torn the page out years back and kept it in a file.

I had the page on Wednesday to do my shopping list and at the time looked for it on the Internet and it wasn't there.

It's lemon jelly, a lemon custard with 5 egg yolks (I remember that bit!) and limoncello and it's topped with whipped cream with limoncello and crushed meringue mixed in.

What have I done with this sodding page?

Thank you for looking. I know it's a big divide but I'm a definite no to cake in trifle. 😁

Sit comfortably, close your eyes &. Mentally retrace your movements.

did you take it shopping with you or has it nit left the house?

it is in a plastic sleeve or anything or just a single magazine page?

when you find it, take a photo of it!

@Kayemm How about this?

References Sainsbury’s magazine, so could be what you’re looking for?

Lemon Swiss roll and amaretti trifle recipe - BBC Food

This one ?
For the Platinum Jubilee ?

IIRC that recipe takes about 3 days to make (I may be exaggerating slightly) so OP wouldn't have had time to make it.

Bit of a sore point because DD entered the Platty Jubes pudding competition and spent ages perfecting her recipe, researching what flavours the Queen was supposed to like, doing tasting sessions with family and reading up about food photography so as to maximise the appeal of her pudding in its picture.

Her recipe was deliberately quite simple with only a few ingredients because we reasoned that if the idea was for people to make it for their own celebrations this would be a plus point. Then of course she didn't even get short listed and the winning entry was so ferociously complicated I don't suppose many people attempted it themselves.

Good luck. Now I fancy it!

So what did you do in the end @Kayemm? Was any of this help useful?

I know when the recipe went to air people were "Who has the time or inclination to make their own Swiss Roll and Amerretti biscuit ?"
