Your best store cupboard dinner?

I was going to make DS2's favourite tonight, a simple tuna pasta thing, but he's announced he won't be in for dinner, and whilst the rest of it would have eaten it, no one loves tuna, so what else could I do that's quick and I might he able to rustle up from a reasonably well stock cupboard and freezer?

Pesto pasta
Spaghetti carbonara
Pasta with tomato, vegetables and cheese bake
Asian style vegetable and noodle soup (especially if you've got gyozas in the freezer)
Spanish omelette

Here normally pho or stir fry

Macaroni cheese with smoked bacon bits and fried onions.

Poached eggs or an omelette on toast. Possibly with baked beans on the side.

Pasta in a cheese sauce.

Tinned soup.

I keep leftovers from previous meals in the freezer so on a night like you're describing, I'd usually pull something out and eat that rather than cooking something else.

Obviously depends what's in your freezer!

Jacket potato with beans
Any tinned tomato or frozen veg chucked into a pan for soup with stock and garlic and blitzed.
Egg fried rice with whatever meat/veg you have.
Savory pancakes (stuffed with ham/tomato sauce/fried mushrooms and cheese sauce) baked with a layer of cheese sauce on top.

Some kind of stir fry - if you have some chicken/pork/beef/prawns in the freezer?

I always have a selection of beans in my cupboard so I might do some kind of beany thing - either with rice or jacket potatoes.

Just had my favourite store cupboard meal - home made falafel with pitta and salad, and a carrot and nigella seed salad on the side. I also had some leftover rice so I fried that up with onion and garlic.

Egg and chips

Pasta puttanesca type sauce

Chickpea curry

Dahl with coconut milk
