Left meat in car overnight

Got a bag of frozen meat off parents and totally forgot about it till 6am this morning it had been in the car since 9pm, (typical in this heat too😫)
it was in a chest freezer so was totally frozen solid and was still frozen solid this morning, I’ve put it back in the freezer now but is it safe? There’s far too much to thaw out to cook all at once 😭.

If it's still frozen then it's fine, surely?

If it's still frozen then it's fine.

It’s still frozen and you’re asking if it’s safe Confused

It gets quite cool overnight compared to day. If it was frozen I think it’s fine

Mummy2925 · 19/05/2025 09:24

I mean is it safe to refreeze

If it hadn't thawed then you are not refreezing. I would probably ensure it was cooked right through when I did cook it though.

If it’s frozen solid, you aren’t refreezimg.

PetaltotheMedal · 19/05/2025 09:30

You could offer it to Bob Mortimer.

GoldLash · 19/05/2025 21:03

Don’t worry it’s still technically frozen so you’re not re freezing

it’s safe as it’s been frozen the whole time
