Just had the most unnecessary but delicious snack. Lovely toasted crumpets topped with far too much M&S hazelnut crème spread and another one topped with the M&S pistachio crème spread. DELICIOUS! Feel sick now though 😂

One of my gingerbread blondies (Jane’s Patisserie recipe, tweaked).

ApricotLime · 06/05/2025 01:48

Cheese scones from Marks bakery. Or their palmiers.

MamaBinturong · 08/05/2025 10:56

Opening this thread when hungry and snackless was a mistake 😄

M&S chocolate cupcakes, they are in packs of two. I bought a few packs for dc and tried one. I normally don't like cupcakes but I was tempted. Omg they are delicious!! Luckily we don't have an m&s nearby, I only get there every 2/3 months 🤣

Lurkingandlearning · 17/05/2025 09:38

Just had a very small jacket potato with grated cheddar

I had a horrible eclair yesterday. It was so disappointing.

I had two digestive biscuits spread thickly with butter with my evening cup of tea. Absolutely delicious.

I might have another one before I go to bed. Sometimes the most simple things are the best.

Top that thickly buttered digestive with a slice of Wensleydale and thank me later...

Oh I’ll definitely give that a try.

Just had it for brunch.😁

Wholegrain seeded bread topped with thick sliced mature cheddar cheese and a whole red onion diced and liberally sprinkled over.*
Pop under the grill for 10-minutes and serve with tomato sauce.

Note* Not just cheese & onion on toast as the bread is not toasted first, apart from the edges, the bread does not get crispy but instead remains soft.

Ryvita with Philly light and pickled red onion slices on top.

Did you really use a whole red onion for one serving?

I

Certainly did!

Love onion and as my OH was out today, I didn't have to share.😆
It was 2-slices.

Sounds delicious

I've just eaten a chocolate eclair.

There is a place near me that does coffee ones. Yummy!

Wait till the UPF police arrive on this thread- you shall all be sent to prison.

I love crumpets. Sadly I am GF and 2 stone overweight so it does not happen often.

My favourite snack right now is natural yoghurt with salted cashews, tahini, honey and chopped bananas or dried apricots.

Catlover1705 · 21/05/2025 14:56

Hula Hoops stuffed with cheese.

KoalaPineapple · 21/05/2025 14:58

Dark rye ryvita with nutella and sliced strawberries on!

cheapskatemum · 21/05/2025 15:00

Pork pie with cherry tomatoes, particularly vine ripened ones.

@WeAreNotOutnumberedthe Genius crumpets aren’t too bad, considering they’re gluten-free.

LittleBitofBread · 21/05/2025 15:34

Too many of these. Delicious.
(The dark choc figs are even better though.)
Unfortunately they're £££, so I only buy them when they're on special offer and then I stockpile.

My new favourite snack is roasted broccoli with garlic, salt and olive oil. Buy the tenderstem broccoli, spread over a baking tray (or in the air fryer), a few cloves of garlic, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle salt and then cook for 15 minutes or so. It tastes like a better version of the seaweed you get from the Chinese!

And I've also just had a massive iced finger with currants from the bakery😍

ERthree · 21/05/2025 15:35

Left over Bougatsa, i could eat the whole dish.

These look amazing!!! I was just saying the other day how much I love the cherry liquors you get at Christmas and these look like a (slightly) healthier version!

They're not like cherry liqueurs, just cherries, no alcohol or alcohol-like flavour. I heartily recommend them, but you do need to save up Grin

StupidBoy · 21/05/2025 15:58

A McDonalds hot apple pie and a mini Mcflurry ice cream to go with it. My guilty pleasure.
