Anyone know anything about choosing a nice plum wine?

I went to a quite fancy Asian fusion place and drank plum wine, long with ice and soda water. It was lovely. Looking at buying bottle but no idea where to start. Will any one do? Anyone know anything?

Plum wine often isn’t very nice, so it was probably the soda water and ice that helped. 😂 I’d aim for something more expensive than really cheap and go drier rather than sweet.

You're looking for an umeshu, and unlike PP I find them delicious, and I often go for one in Japanese restaurants, sometimes as a highball sometimes chilled & neat. I have never bought a bottle for home though, so watching with interest.
