Making bread at home

I would like to start baking my own bread. Can anyone recommend a foolproof bread recipe white, wholemeal and whole grain. Or a tried and tested bread cookbook that I can buy please. I have been making sourdough but getting bored of having that all the time. Just want to make a different type of bread. Also I don’t have a bread machine and am not intending to buy one as I don’t have the room.

many thanks

Have a look at the Bread Ahead YouTube channel. They have loads of masterclasses for all different types of bread.

The olive oil bread from BBC Good Food was my starting point - really simple and delicious.

I highly recommend Paul Hollywood’s ‘How to Bake’ book, great recipes for beginners.
