….it was very reduced in Morrisons. Tell me the best thing you do in yours. I don’t have fish finger aged children and I love cooking.
I am doubting my choice.

Anything you’d normally use your oven or grill for really. It’s just more convenient. Last night I made jacket potatoes. Before that I’d made bacon and part baked rolls. It’s just so much easier, quicker and easier to clean. I also use it for the most part of a Sunday roast etc.

Anything you normally cook in the oven, but just reduce the cooking time a bit. You’ll soon get the hang of it.

I think it gets stuff nice and crispy I do things like Tempura prawns. I also use it instead of the oven a lot so pan fry a bit of salmon or steak and then pop in air fryer. Blanch veg and then toss in the hot buttery pan you’ve used for protien and everything is ready at the same time with minimal washing up.

Prefer it for home made burgers / meatballs as nothing sticks/ don’t need to turn.

I air fried cauliflower yesterday, it was amazing.
Crunchy chick peas, spicy almonds.
I am using mine mainly for snacks rather than meals.

I tend to think ‘will this fit In The air fryer?’ If it does then in it goes.

We have a multi cooker so tend to use the pressure cooker more, but air fryer gets used for roast potatoes, crisping up jacket potatoes, sausages, frozen pastries. It’s good for sliced courgettes - bit of oil/spice/seasoning - makes a good veg side dish. At Easter I was stuck for oven space so steamed or boiled some carrots quickly and air fried them (tossed in a little oil and honey) and they came out well.

Mine gets used for everything I would have put in the oven, but it costs so much less to run. I’m making a seed cake later, and that will be cooked in the air fryer. I only put my oven on for Sunday roasts now, and make sure I batch cook anything large at the same time.

Cajan Salmon cubes are lovely. Exactly as described, 5/6 mins and sorted
