Just had a vision 'Marzipan Flapjacks', inspired by contents of my cupboard. How to make the dream a reality?

Mmmm, i love marzipan.
How about roll out thin layer of marzipan. Spread out half the flapjack mixture into the pan, place marzipan on top then cover with remaining mixture? Bake.

Just make normal flapjacks, while eating slices of marzipan. Yum!

oh no, surely not. SURELY not. It will be far too sweet .

Actually, save yourself the bother and just eat the marzipan.

Kind of ice them using the rolled marzipan?

Cut it up into little cubes and stir it in? Sounds quite nice actually...
