Help me organise my cupboards, please!

I have approx 1.5 cupboards worth of space where I keep baking equipment. Ingredients (e.g. flour, sugar) are dotted around the kitchen. I love baking but it takes much longer than it needs to as I'm forever pulling out stuff to get to other stuff and rummaging through cupboards for ingredients. Is it worth investing in storage tubs or does that simply keep the problem in different containers?!

I'm interested in what others do to organise your kitchens, especially baking bits and bobs/ingredients

I now keep all my dry ingredients in Mason or Kilner jars on open shelves in the kitchen. Makes it so easy to see what I’ve got, where it is and what’s running out.

I don't decant things. Then you need to keep part used bags somewhere and I'd lose track.

I group related ingredients into storage boxes so it's easy to find things.

I've got some shelf organisers. Imagine a flight of 3 stairs, that extend sideways to fit your cupboards. Also small turntables that fit inside cupboards.
I do decant things like flour, pasta etc into containers that are large enough to take the contents of a bag. I also label every container if they're not glass.

Brilliant thank you. My cupboards are chaos, things stuck behind other things and no idea what I have. Discovered today I have three containers of baking powder and no bicarbonate of soda for example. And two open bags of plain flour.
