Best Shop Bought Dessert?

What's everyone's favourite shop bought dessert? I need to pick up something to take to a friend's on Friday night, think there will be three or four of us. Preferably something cold so host doesn't have to warm anything up, so profiteroles, cheesecake, panna cotta etc. I have M&S, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Iceland and Asda within 15 mins of me...any ideas please?

Waitrose No 1 Lemon Meringue Pie. needs 8-9 minutes in the oven from frozen . Great tart lemon flavour and meringue topping was perfect consistency of crispy top and soft fluffy inside
Was a great hit with us all over Easter.

Tesco do various flavours of frozen roulade for£ 5.35. I loved their passionfruit one, but they don't seem to have that any more. Belgian chocolate and praline or dark chocolate and raspberry seem to be in stock, so you could choose one and add some fresh fruit alongside. It says they serve 8.

I came here to say this. The dark chocolate and raspberry one is delicious

I went through a profiteroles obsession during early the breastfeeding wild hunger. I can confirm M&S are the best - even nicer than the Waitrose ones.

They also do an amazing chocolate eclair in their best ever range. I’ve actually had to ban myself from buying them but I’d say each one would serve 2 as they are very rich.

You can’t serve guests half an eclair.

Morello cherry pie, most supermarkets do their own version and I've not tasted a bad one

Oh sorry just realised you said preferably cold. These need to be baked in oven.

M&S or Sainsbury's lemon tart and a punnet or two of raspberries, classic and one of the few I think genuinely as good shop bought. Not sure if Tesco or Asda have a good one too, I've not tried theirs

are you talking about the Sicilian lemon tart from Sainsbury's or the normal lemon one?

Waitrose no1 sticky toffee pudding ( feeds four but can chop in half) with their fresh custard is better than any restaurant I’ve tried and I’m an stp lover
