I have a brill recipe for lamb's neck with prunes. Really it sounds quite unpromising but shall post it anyway if you like!

Chill in fridge, add a good slug of brandy (optional), eat with thick cold greek yogurt.

Or swap with me for a tin of that complete breakfast in a tin that DP bought.

At least then you will know that worse things can come in a tin!

I love prunes. I would have with greek yoghurt, granola and a spoon of honey for breakfast.

Google prune brownies, great way of using up a tin and making slightly more healthy brownies, you puree them and use instead of all the fat/sugar.

Decant them into a clean jar. Top up with brandy to keep covered if you have to. Then you only need to take a couple at a time. I have a jar that must be about 5 years old as I usually only use a few at Christmas for my pan forte and fruit cake. They are fine.

You can add them to a rich beef stew, they sort of melt into the gravy. And isn’t there a thing about pork with prunes?

I hope the tin from 2008 this zombie thread was about has been used!
