Cook the whole pork joint or cut it in half

I have a roast pork shoulder joint for 5/6 people. Just me and teenage daughter here all week.
Do I cut it in half and freeze unused half or cook the whole joint and use for meals during the week? Is it more cost effective to cook the whole joint? What meals can I make with leftovers? I would love your help x

I’d cook the whole thing, then make a curry with what’s leftover.

We quite often cook a large one then pork baps next day and put rest into freezer for quick easy meals.

Cook the whole thing.
The left overs are great for sandwiches, or just cold with a salad. And if you need want a hot meal, can be reused in a stir fry, curry or fajita filling etc.

I'd cook the whole thing and then I'd freeze portions of it in gravy or whatever you are having with it today so that you have a few practically instant meals ready. I do this all the time with legs of lamb when they are on offer and then I can have a roast lamb and gravy dinner on the table in less than 10 minutes! Frozen mash and peas too always in freezer!
