Does anyone use a spiraliser anymore

It was the must have gadget in the kitchen in the mid 2010s. Turning courgette, carrot and butternut squash into ‘pasta’.

Not heard anyone mentioning this recently.

I had one and it was useless. You needed perfectly straight veg, a pain to assemble and a bloody pain to clean. Yes, bloody in the sense of I cut myself washing the washable parts.

I used mine last week. But it was probably the first time in five years.

Funnily enough mine was put in the boot ready to go to a charity shop today - cannot remember the last time I used it.

Still use my electric one!

Yes, I love spiralised courgette in a stirfry rather than noodles. That is all I use it for, I haven't spiralised any other vegetable but mine is relatively easy to clean and I have never cut myself on it.

Yes from time to time, but only for courgetti because I genuinely like it with pesto or cottage cheese as a super fast lunch.

I still use my electric one occasionally; mainly just for courgetti. I do have a spiraliser recipe book though so might dig it out.
