Please help if you can!
Hosting a party where guests are mainly adults, only diet request is 1 gluten intolerant, no vegetarians
About 22 people, need easy to eat, perhaps standing with a bowl and a fork.

The hall has only a microwave and a kettle and my time constraints mean I have to prep in advance and freeze, but it's close to my house.
My thoughts prep, freeze, reheat until really hot, put into slow cookers ( I can get hold of 4) transport and plug in on low.
My boring first idea is chilli (mild)
Cook rice sachets in the microwave when I get there and put into a slow cooker?

What is my additional main course? To cook in the same way as the chilli?

I can take the campervan (tiny oven) park it outside and warm up garlic bread and cook chicken nuggets for the only (fussy) child attendee.

Other ideas/suggestions please?
TIA

Beef in (gluten free) beer
The taming twins recipe went down well and I put Becky Excell dumplings in.
Could easily make a huge batch

Beef stroganoff or coq au vin are both easy and would do well in slow cookers.

Curry would keep warm and go with rice/naans
Pulled pork would work well, serve in rolls.

I like the chilli idea, but go extra with the toppings to make it less boring. So different types of grated cheeses, tortilla chips, sour cream, crispy onions, bacon bits, guacamole, salsa, pulled pork, jalapeños, crusty bread obvs GF

Pulled pork, homemade coleslaw, crusty rolls and this bbq sauce www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/bbqsauce_4973

Banging!

And easy to adapt for veggies, vegans and gluten free. And it's dairy free too.

Does it have to be hot? That's always going to be challenging and means yes, it needs to be a stew or a curry or something most likely. I'd probably go for just one thing butput a bit of effort into the extras on the side.

Many thanks all!
After discussion with my co-host, I'll do coq au vin. Also add grated cheese, guacamole etc as suggested above to serve with the chilli
