If you don't eat sweets/avoid UPF or avoid sugar then please just scroll by this is not aimed at you. Currently enjoying some drumstick squashies which in my opinion are the best sweets! I love all varieties that I have tried, my favourite are the sour apple and cherry. The ones I'm having tonight are the orange and pineapple Drumchicks. I also really like Moam stripes and I love fizzy cola bottles. What are your favorites?

Rhubarb and Custard Squashies are my favourite but they're becoming harder to get. I love the drumstick ones too.

Limited Editoon sour Maoms are amazing!

I love Pick n Mix sweets.

Felicityjoy · 12/03/2025 23:10

Sherbet fountains

MrsSkylerWhite · 12/03/2025 23:10

TheLadyIsAVamp · 12/03/2025 23:14

Beer bottles (Pint pots).

So addictive but hard to find ones with the right consistency online- sadly I don't live anywhere near a proper market with a sweet stall!

HeathenPlayingHouse · 12/03/2025 23:18

And also, Wham bars.

I have a wonderful memory of scoffing a whole bag of Wham softies- they were amazing but alas, I have never seen them again 😢

SpottedDonkey · 12/03/2025 23:19

Bassets Jelly Babies. When it comes to sweets, I have the palate of a four year old.

Julen7 · 12/03/2025 23:20

Sour Patch

worcesterpear · 12/03/2025 23:23

I cant remember what they're called but the blue or pink things you get in liquorice allsorts with bobbles all over them (aniseed flavour). Also like blackjacks.

justasking111 · 12/03/2025 23:30

Cadbury cream eggs.
Anything mint chocolate.

LauderSyme · 12/03/2025 23:33

Scottish tablet
Indian barfi
Honeycomb cinder block from a fairground.

I couldn't choose just one!

user1471474138 · 12/03/2025 23:37

Tangtastics
fudge - any fudge but especially Cadbury fingers of fudge
maltesers in a box

Papadonut · 12/03/2025 23:40

Hichew. So addictive.

YourChirpyFatball · 13/03/2025 05:57

I think they're made by Haribo, Ballix sticks. Thin red, white concoction filled, possibly strawberry flavour? Hard to say but I could eat the whole packet.
Poundland sell them & Morrisons so temptation is always near.

Flidina · 13/03/2025 06:36

Chocolate limes, blackcurrant and liquorice, aniseed balls, and sherbet pips are my favourites.

iseenyouwithkefir · 13/03/2025 06:46

I love dark choc, milk choc, and white choc.

But when it comes to gummies, nothing beats "Saure Johannisbeeren". I'm surprised there aren't more UK sources for these, as they have a redcurrant base and that's definitely native to/available in the UK.

RinklyRomaine · 13/03/2025 07:08

I grew up above a sweet shop 🙄 so all of them really.

Anything sour - acid drops, sour cherry drops
Rose and lilac pips
Blackcurrant chewits
Newberry fruits
Wham bars (the ones that had the really sour crunchies)
Old school beer bottles that tasted of bitter

Comedycook · 13/03/2025 07:10

More into chocolate than sweets but I do love jelly tots!

GroovyChick87 · 13/03/2025 07:20

Nerds clusters.

Spogs, I am horrifically addicted to these. The only shop I know that sells them is Home Bargains, so I try not to go in there as I always buy two gigantic bags because I am a greedy sod.
