Just made too much for dd's tea and don't want it to go to waste.

I never asked this question but I have frozen excess cheese sauce on many occasions and we are still alive and well! I always defrost it in the fridge and for some reson it seems to thicken and need to have some milk added when reheating.

Label it clearly - I froze my last lot in an old vanilla ice cream container and was very unpopular when I tried to make banana splits with it, having forgotten the contents!!!!

decided not to freeze in the end, and gave the same meal (brocoli in cheese sauce) to her again tonight.
thanks for the tip though. will remember for next time I make too much cheese sauce.
