Can I make these myself?

I'm trying to eat more healthily and have got into the habit of buying these but they're expensive.

I like veg al dente so they're really convenient as I take one to work and just bung it in the microwave for 2 minutes to have with lunch.

Obviously I can't boil a pan at work so I'm looking for an easy way to recreate these without the veg going soggy!

Can I make these myself?

Just slice your veg into this sort of sized packet. Then microwave with a tiny bit of water(1-2 tsp). If at the office, use a microwaveable bowl with a lid and leave the lid on but loosely (ie don't seal it before you put it in the microwave). Or you can cover the bowl with clingfilm and prick it a couple of times.

I've totally overthought this 🙈 I assumed it was the compression of the packet that made the veg cook so quickly! Thank you!

You can cook salmon like that in the microwave too

I wouldn't advise it at work though because of the smell

Grin No, it's the small size of the vegetables.
