Not Christmassy Fruitcake

Hi all

A relative has a milestone birthday coming up and has requested a fruit cake. However, all the recipes I can find have lots of Christmas spice and alcohol.

Can anyone recommend a good non Christmas fruit cake (and how would you ice it?). I'm thinking maybe one with more apple or citrus in it so a little lighter

Must be family friendly for kids so no alcohol!
