Yes of course!

I mean, you can, but it's likely to sit disconsolately in the freezer until someone gets around to slinging it out. I would make soup out of it and eat it tomorrow.

Depends on the household I guess...I use every single bit of food that I freeze - I've got a system that works really well.

You're not wrong though; soup is another great option.

You can also freeze the meat and veg and make soup out of it later, if you don't fancy chicken again tomorrow!

Yes of course you can. My dad is elderly and so nearly every meal we make at home, I make an extra portion for my dad, freeze it and then transfer to his freezer when I see him every 2-3 weeks. He loves his home made ready meals!

Yes
Freeze everything including gravy
I use the leftovers to make a pie
bones for stock

I always freeze meal leftovers, pretty much whatever they are. Great for lunches.

I'd pop that chicken in a container like a chinese takeaway one, add the veg and some gravy, a lovely handy dinner 'block' when you are short of time. I have some lovely roast lamb with carrots/turnips in mine at the moment, I just pop out the block into a saucepan on low heat, put lid on and stick a potato in microwave. Yum single portion dinner in no time at all!

I'm usually cooking for 2, so do it frequently.
I keep the meat in one piece, covered in plenty of gravy, & carve when re-heated. I don't bother with leftover veg.

Make some mash and then have bubble and squeak with a fried egg for dinner with it
that's what we usually have, I mash up any leftover roasties too in it. I also save veg peelings in the freezer for when I have a chicken carcass to make stock

You can, but it’s much nicer just to have it the next day for lunch or dinner. If we do a roast (about once a month), we have it Sunday and Monday.

True. I freeze if I know I'm not going to want it again within a few days, or if I want to have the makings of an easy soup available for a later date.
