Bags for keeping bread fresh

I am not sure if this is the right topic - let me know & I'll ask for it to be moved.

What I am looking for is a bag which will keep bread fresher for longer. I have looked on Amazon but a bit bamboozled. I don't have room on my worktop for a bread bin and not much space in my little larder cupboard. I do buy sourdough bread - bizarrely when I can get it the ready sliced seems to last better or maybe - given we often use it for toast just doesn't seem to get harder as quickly as an unlined loaf.

Can anyone give me any advice , either something they could recommend or am I looking for unicorn dust / fairy droppings ( whatever the phrase is ) 😊

Thanks all

There's no bakery near me, so I have to buy from supermarkets.

I find that the plastic bags all bread comes in keep it fresh quite well, providing it is tightly sealed.

@Georgyporky Thank you for your reply - I should have made myself clearer - normal sliced bread I agree with you - it's more the sourdough loaves which just come in a paper bag. Thank you though - my fault for not explaining

I make my own sourdough and keep it in a linen bag and it does last well. My pantry is very cold and stuffed with food so to save space I got my husband to fit a metal bar and hand the bread and vegetables in bags from that and they keep well.

No idea if it’s any good but would this do the job? Not many reviews but they look like good ones www.babipur.co.uk/products/ecoliving-gots-organic-cotton-bread-produce-bag?_pos=1&_psq=bread+ba&_ss=e&_v=1.0

We make our own bread and buy plastic bags and keep in there to replicate supermarket bags. We get big tie handle ones and it works well, I worry that linen bags would let the bread dry out

Thank you all - I will have another go

Very much appreciate all replies 💐🍞
