Chicken meal prep for the week

DS (16) wants to take his own lunch to school and he doesn't like sandwiches.

He's been getting up early and cooking (destroying the kitchen).

What would be the best way to prep for the week.

I was considering cooking a whole chicken on a sunday, which he could use throughout the week.

I know you can just buy cooked chicken but it is expensive and not very nice.

He is having it with rice and he couldn't do that for the week.

If so, what's the best way to cook it? Roast? poach?

I should also add he keeps it in a lunchbox and eats it cold.

I tend to cook some chicken at the start of the week. I will use some the next day and then freeze ready chopped and just get a bit out the night before.

I have a mix of salads and wraps

Chicken Caesar wrap / salad
Salads with rice / roast peppers / mushrooms. Wrap with the same but leave out rice and add some lettuce
Wrap with hoisin and crispy options with the chicken
Poke bowl with edamame, rice etc etc
Coronation chicken sauce in the wrap
