Can you recommend a salt grinder?!

I know this question may sound ridiculous!

In the past I bought a salt grinder from a shop near where I lived at the time and it worked perfectly for about ten years until the grinding mechanism eventually wore out. I no longer live near that shop, so can't buy another one the same.

I have bought two different salt grinders, and both of them clog up every few weeks (presumably as the salt absorbs moisture in the air) and become unusable. I then have to empty out the salt, wash the grinder and allow it to dry, refill it, only for it to clog up again a few weeks later. It's a real nuisance.

I am using the same salt as I used with the previous grinder, so the salt is not the problem. (I always use sea salt, which I prefer to rock salt.)

If anyone can recommend a grinder that doesn't clog up, that would be brilliant! :) Ideally a wooden one, as I like them!

We got these 3 years ago and have had no problems Masterclass, although the Peugot and David Mellor grinders often come up on threads about salt and pepper grinders .

I bought Cole and Mason salt and pepper mills when I split up from exDP. It sounds mad, but they give me a lot of pleasure and they work very well:

The best salt ones I have found are the plastic ones that are ready filled in the supermarket. First one lasted 10 years or so and second one still going strong. Tried a fancy one, lasted months.

I got one filled with salt from Lidl. It said Kalahari salt on it. It must be good, it disappeared from the staff room for three- five days and in the end I wrote a sarky note and it was returned!!!
