Slow cooker meatballs

I have some frozen meatballs from Sainsbury's (you buy them frozen) and wanted to put them in the slow cooker

Do I need to cook them first?

My DD wants spaghetti and meatballs for dinner but evenings are difficult with her newborn sister!

I would always brown meat before putting it in the slow cooker. You don't have to cook it all the way through just make sure the outsides colour.

I used to brown meatballs before putting them into a tomato sauce to cook but don’t bother any more. I found there wasn’t any noticeable difference to the finished dish.
