Have some family coming over Saturday and they like meaty meals.
can I have some suggestions, easy ones, for a meaty main?
There’s 5 of us adults and I have a toddler and baby..
I have a slow cooker, airfryer and oven. So happy to use any of those or the cooker.
they don’t eat beef so no beef suggestions. Sorry! And thank you

Pulled pork. I serve with mashed potato, corn on the cob and coleslaw.

Ignore the fact it's a SW recipe, it's just good recipe! And I use sugar to taste, not fake sweetner.

Lamb curry, lamb tagine, lamb stew (jamie oliver has a good one).

Roast Chicken (or Lamb or Pork) and the trimmings.

Pie...who doesn't love a pie?

Jamie Oliver’s chicken and mushroom pie. Really easy, quick and delicious.

For a group, I generally prefer to plonk everything in the centre of the table and let everyone help themselves.

-Fajitas with chicken and/or prawns. You could have 2 meaty mains along with all the sides- rice, grated cheese, salsa, refried beans, salady bits, jalepenos etc
-Crumbed chicken thighs/drumsticks with veg sides
-Kiev type chicken, schnitzel or chicken breasts wrapped in prosciutto with veg
-Burgers (pork or chicken), oven chips and ribs.

-Slow cooked leg of lamb. Sometimes I've de-bone the leg and marinate overnight in lemon juice, olive oil, oregano and garlic. I then slow cook it the following day. Again, plonked on the table and served with salady bits. Sometimes I do more Moroccan style with cous cous, houmous and salad. Sometimes, more kebab type with purple cabbage (which was chopped and mixed with some olive oil, salt/sugar), pickled peppers, garlic sauce/chilli sauce and similar sides to a kebab shop
-The ribs I use are pork. Either slow cooked or in the pressure cooker, then a blast in the oven to crisp a little. I mix hoisin sauce with either some apple juice, cider or just water to loosen the sauce. Just enough to coat the ribs and prevent the dish drying out. Once the ribs are cooked, they should be almost falling off the bone. I then drizzle more hoisin sauce over the top. 😋
