My subscription to 'Olive' has expired, and I was going to renew it because I do like it and it has a lot of recipes and ideas, but was wondering if there were any better food mags out there.

Good Food? My friend gets it and loves it.

Have a look at the NCT website for subscription offers, maybe there's something you'd like and raise money for the NCT at the same time.

I prefer Good Food Magazine.

Another vote for good food.

Good Food isn't great if you are an experienced cook. There are a lot of "assembly jobs" and the recipes seem to come around again pretty quickly. I like sainsburys and Waitrose magazines, although they are not entirely foodie.

check tesco clubcard deals too they do mags

Food and Travel is one of my favourites and I also like Gourmet, Saveur and Bon Appetite (which are american). my favourite uk one is Waitrose food illustrated but that is free if you are a member of their loyalty club. Not sure which one I would get a subscription to.

Delicious is a good magazine as well.

I love Cook's Illustrated which is American but expensive to buy over here, particularly because it's very slim. Has articles where they take you through trying and testing different versions of the same dish to get the perfect recipe - it's very anal but I love it!
