Cheese cake

I made one recently. Used chocolate Hob Nobs for the base and then the cheese cake mixture on top. All tasted good but the problem was it was so difficult to get the base off with the cheese cake. I was hoping I could cut it to serve in perfect slices but almost needed a saw to cut through the base. Can anybody recommend a base that would slice nicely with the cheese cake.

I use digestives and half fat to biscuits by weight, too much butter makes it hard to slice. I always stick a small circle of parchment in middle of tin base not all the way to the edge but just enough to keep the cheesecake in place on the base but make it easy to lift off too.
