Fast food craving - help...

Inspired by the KFC emergency childcare thread. I now cannot stop thinking about KFC or any other fast food (by this I mean anything that comes in a take away box). But I am very unwell and pretty much bed-bound at the moment and need to not go there...

Please share your fast food cravings and favourite orders so I can read with pleasure whilst having some plain crackers and water.

Not a thread for food snobs or anyone proclaiming to have never set eyes on a chicken nugget.

Big fan of Macdonalds - especially when the fries are very hot and salty
Also really like a burrito from Tortilla - I always get a large it's so good
I miss old KFC, family bucket in the 90s with the mini bean tub

Fish and Chips - we have an amazing one near us, again hot and salty (and soft?) chips are the best, with mushy peas

Spam fritter, chips, gravy and DRIPPING in vinegar.

People usually ask if I want any chips with my vinegar 😂

Kebab with garlic and chilli sauce with loads of pickled red cabbage 😝

I've found my life purpose with this thread 😂 I'll describe things in great detail that I'm currently avoiding for the sake of my health 🙈 #January

Shake Shack shroom burger (if you haven't had it, it's basically 2 flat mushrooms stuffed with really melty cheese, breaded and deep fried in a potato bun 🤤) - with cheesy fries and a strawberry shake or a passion fruit lemonade in summer.

Wing Stop BBQ and Garlic Parmesan boneless bites, with ranch AND blue cheese dipping sauces

Chipotle tacos 🌮

A deep dish margarita pizza with so much grease on top you could (and probably should!) mop it with a napkin before eating. Pizza Hut is ideal, but it could be any local kebab house kind of place

Not sure if Wahacas counts as fast food? But buttermilk chicken tacos, potato esquites (fried cubed potato, topped with grilled corn, loads of feta, and jalapeño sauce) and nachos

Nando's sunset burger with piri piri fries, garlic bread, 2x garlic piri mayonnaise, and a slab of their chocolate cake to finish it off

Yes I would class Wahaca as fast food. I do love their salad in a deep fried tortilla bowl.

@Beepbeepoutoftheway yes I could absolutely murder some hot chips with vinegar right now. In fact a full fish n chips with lovely salt and vinegar.

Yes I am probably craving the salt and protein. I've had a few weeks of being seriously unwell and whilst I've cooked meals for DS, I haven't eaten much for days.

I know what you mean about soft and soggy chips! A mixture of some soggy and some crunchy is best😁

I hope you feel better soon! For me, it’s all about Taco Bell’s Crunchwrap Supreme—so good, and it hits the spot every time. And Wendy’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich is another favorite. You should try Wendy's burgers and combos when you get well. I order them whenever I get the chance.
