I've just poured a kettle of boiling water into a jar holding almost a full packet of dried tagliatelle, instead of the adjacent saucepan.
I drained it, ran it under the cold tap but it's still wilted.

Will it keep, & if so how? We only have pasta i-2 times per week, & I'm reluctant to throw it away.

Cook all of it and freeze it cooked. It won't keep in its current state.

I'd cook it, then freeze it if you really couldn't get through it in the next few days

Ha. Cross posted 😁

😁

As above cook then freeze. I think it’s meant to be better for you / less bad for you with regards to glycemic index if it’s cooked, cooled and reheated anyway.

Mindyourfunkybusiness · 15/01/2025 07:27

@Broop yes that is correct

Thanks everyone, it's now in the freezer in portions.
