Air Fryer yes or no?!

I'm so in the fence about getting an Air Fryer,
I want one but not sure if it's a 'fad' and that you can just use the oven?!

Those with an air fryer or have had one would you say they are worth it or not?

Thanks ☺️

Love mine. I will say I have a very shit oven so for me I find it amazing. Food is crisper and alot faster as you don't need to preheat.

The only thing I now cook in my oven is pizza

I'm a very recent convert...... love ours

Definitely the best thing we have ever bought. Great for snacks without heating up the big oven. My children come home from school and heat pies and sausages rolls themselves. I now cook a whole chook and potato's in it for 1 hour and then just wash the bucket in the sink

Yes! Love mine- use it every day. Much quicker than the oven and easy to clean especially for burgers, bacon etc - food that you usually grill or fry. My favorite kitchen purchase ever!

We just bought one last week and so far very impressed. I'm able to put it in the utility room
But if I'd had to put it in the kitchen I would have been keen giving up the surface space.

Oooooh I'm likening the replies.... I'm almost tempted!

What air fryers do you have?

I've had one for over a year and used it max twice and not successfully.
THEN I used it before Xmas a few times and loved everything I made and haven't stopped using it since!
(I have double ovens too and only seem to use them on the weekend).
Today I quickly marinated a pack of chicken thighs in a yoghurt marinade and wacked it in the air fryer for about 22 mins - fabulous and skin was crispy!
I even made Toad in the hole for one in it!

I didn't want one but we inherited one. I now use it most days.
Yesterday, I cooked salmon in it to go with a stir fry.
Today, I cooked some vine tomatoes to go with scrambled eggs for lunch. For dinner I did part baked rolls in it to go with soup. It's just little things but it makes a big difference not turning on the gas oven and waiting for it to heat up.
Also super easy for a quick pasta sauce, chuck in any leftover veg and a pile of tomatoes then blend with some stock. Same for soup, just more stock.
I'm definitely a convert

It's so much faster and more efficient than a normal oven. I think the real win is if you live alone. You don't have to feel guilty firing it up for a jacket potato or a couple of rashers of bacon.
