Can you use tomoto purée in tube if passes the best before date??

Yes. It’s only a best before, not a use by.

Yes it'll be fine

Depending how far past may be a little less intense/tomatoey but best before isn't the same as "will give you food poisoning after".

I have three tubes which I won't be able to use by end of this month :)

Absolutely, it's a non perishable and will be absolutely fine

You can freeze puree (is handy in ice cube trays sizes)

But you don't need to, will be fine for months

It’ll be fine. I don’t think I’ve ever looked at the date on a tube of tomato puree in my life. It’s not out of date yet. I’d use it years out of date if it’s a sealed tube.

😆Are you for real? I would absolutely use it. That would mean the END of the month its best before! Honestly, even if it was Jan 2026- I'd still use it. The only caveat would be if it was opened, green and furry!
