I've been trying a recipe box and it's been really great except for the fact it fails to list the ingredients on the pre-packaged parts upfront. That is the sauces, or prepackaged grains or whatever. I have a particular food sensitivity and thought that a recipe box should enable me to pick recipes that didn't contain it or if it's in there I can take it out and replace with something else if a raw ingredient. But because the ingredients of the pre-packaged parts aren't properly listed upfront, I can't choose with this knowledge up front. This is frustrating as sometimes I would have chosen another recipe if I'd known and sometimes they are not easily replaced if very fundamental to the meal.
Can people tell me if all recipe box providers are like this or if there are some that list all the ingredients upfront including on any pre-made or pre-packaged parts, not just the fresh ingredients?
