Christmas Mincemeat - what to do with a large jar

I bought a large jar of Christmas mincemeat and am looking for ideas of what to make with it - but not the obvious pies.

I made Mary Berry’s mincemeat loaves and they turned out dry and a bit crumbly, although they tasted nice. I’m thinking of a loaf, cake or crumble as opposed to anything else sickly sweet like rocky road etc.

We've made two batches of mince pies (DH won with his last night as he blind baked etc.), and we still have some left.

Will def have a look at the suggestions 🙂.

I like to stir it into flapjacks.

As long as the seal on the lid is not broken , it will still be ok for next year . Store in a cool place .

Nigel Slater has a couple of lovely recipes; Mincemeat hotcakes and mincemeat cake.

So many lovely ideas - thank you all!

I actually have two jars of mincemeat - Sainsbury’s had about a 800g jar for 28p - so I want to use one now and save the other one for a later date.
