Fresh cream cakes - not worth risk?

Had a bit a of a manic day and bought fresh cream cakes on my way home from work at 2pm - completely forgot they were still in the bag until now (8.30pm) - will they be safe to eat tomorrow if I stick them in the fridge? Or just bin them!

Why ever would you not eat them? What do you think might have happened to them ?

I'd not think twice about eating them.

You can usually tell if fresh cream is a bit off or not, if it seems okay, I would keep them!
