Looking for the simplest way so planning on halving them then roasting with a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper. But should I parboil them first? And how long should they take in the oven? 🤔

I just cook by sight so I can't give a timing but I don't parboil them. They're really tasty roasted!

Do you have an airfryer? I do mine in the AF with lardons, chestnuts etc

I got the AF idea from tiktok (no par boiling)

I shred them, parboil for a minute or two and then fry in a pan with pancetta. Absolutely yummy.

I just throw them in with the parsnips and carrots about ten minutes before the end.

Parboil, then shred them and fry up with roast chestnuts and bacon. Season with a bit of pepper. Bloody delicious.

I don’t parboil - I just halve them and roast them cut side down with oil, salt and pepper. Somewhere around 40 minutes at 190°C.
