Xmas Eve Dinner

What does everyone eat for dinner on Xmas Eve?

This year is slow cooked** beef osso bucco with mash and a couple of good bottles of red. Last couple of years previous have had fillet steaks and homemade chips. Sometimes we have just had a buffet style dinner.

Something that creates as little mess and washing up as possible!

I've bought a venison daube from M and S this year and will serve with mash/green vegetables. Random bitty entertaining on Christmas Day/Boxing Day so going for the easy option.

'Beef' wellington. Mine, husbands and daughters are vegetarian ones though, the rest will be beef. Dauphinoise potatoes and veg!

Antipasti and cheese board for us. No idea what for the kids. Anything!

In the end it was just dd & me as everyone else was out. We had a spice tailor korma kit with salmon and prawns. I did microwave pilau rice for speed and minimal clearing up. Was really nice
