Christmas Pud to make today

I've been so busy at work I've ended up bringing work home last 5 weekends so haven't done my usual Christmas Pud. Does anyone have a tried and tested recipe for a late made one? Thank you!

If all else fails pop to Lidl and save yourself the stress.
Lidl came out top in a teste test I watched.

Asda super special one looks good too.

My Mum always bought Lidl puddings, they had a higher fruit content than M&S & Waitrose ( lnot sure about currently)

However I find shop bought puddings way too sweet, and always reduce the sugar in recipes. I think you'd be fine making any recipe OP, yes they mature nicely if made ahead but won't be anything wrong with one made now. I always use Delia's traditional recipe which requires a long steaming in the first cook, but I think it is worth it. Personally I'd try and fit in another steaming between now and Wednesday too. Bit of a faff as you have to change the paper and foil but so well worth it if you can be bothered/have the time.

This is a really easy Delia recipe for Christmas puddings using mincemeat, I usually make these and they're delicious

Just buy one and put your feet up and watch a Christmas film instead.
Honestly you can't tell the difference
