Chocolate bread and butter pudding recipe

DN (who’s) coming for Christmas Day has asked if we could have chocolate bread and butter pudding for dessert.

Anyone got a good recipe? I’ve found some online but don’t have time to try them out so something tried and tested is needed!

Have used Delia's one many times and it's delicious. I think it's in her Winter book but you may be able to find it online.

It's actually making me want to have it now ...😁

I would second Delia’s recipe. It’s amazing. And she recommends putting it all together 24 hours (or might even be 48 hours) in advance so a big win for stress free Christmas Day.

I can't find the recipe, but I've made a simple one with pain au chocolat a few times long ago. It's a bit less chocolaty. Delia - as others have said - has a good more chocolaty one and I think John and Liza have a choc and orange one

Another vote for Delia Smith's recipe.
It's even better served cold, so you can male it a couple of days in advance, chill and serve when you're ready.
