I'm just about to do a complete refill of kitchen pantry cupboards after a kitchen refit.

Tin, pulses, ingredients and all that.

What's your absolute must haves?

Look on Delli and sous chef if your budget allows. Think about what you enjoy and what you ise daily weekly and monthy

I always think this varies massively from person to person. But for me:

Vinegars - balsmic, cider/white wine, sherry, malt
Oils - olive, rapeseed, general vegetable, chilli, garlic
Soy sauce, sriracha, hoisin, gyochang (or however its spelled), fish sauce, miso paste
Herbs and spices - to preference
Flour - self raising, plain, bread flour, cornflour
Sugars - granulated, caster, icing, brown, demerra
Almond meal, dessicated coconut , dried fruit and nuts
Noodles - rice and wok
Pasta - spaghetti, penne and usually at least one other shape
Rice - white and brown, risotto, paella
Lentils - usually red, sometimes puy
Pouches - for emergency use usually mixed rice or grains
Couscous
Tins - baked beans, sweetcorn, tuna, chopped tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, butter beans, canellini beans, chickpeas, coconut milk
Also - 1 or 2 of fruit (any kind) for emergency crumbles, smoothies etc
Passata

that's my bare minimum I think.
