Sharing ideas for Christmas

Going to a friend's house for lunch next week and we are all taking a plate or two to share.

I'm so busy with nativity costumes and wrapping, I've let it bypass me.

What would you make and take?

This is really simple https://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/eggs/christmas-quiche/

This is also easy if you buy the balsamic onion chutney already and don’t make your own! https://www.sainsburysmagazine.co.uk/recipes/mains/balsamic-onion-goats-cheese-and-rocket-tart

I’ve made this for many a buffet https://www.ainsley-harriott.com/recipe/festive-couscous-salad/

Oh, I really hate quiche and goats cheese 😂

But I really appreciate the reply. The salad looks delicious actually, thank you!

Fig, blue cheese and prosciutto flat bread.
Basically make (or buy) pizza dough, roll into rectangle. Top with caramelised onion chutney. Add sliced figs, prosciutto and the crumble over blue cheese. Bake, then drizzle over a little bit of honey and sprinkle over a few pea shoots.

These glazed pigs in blankets are my wonderful. The work just as well with veggie sausages if there’s dietary requirements and have been a hit with everyone I’ve served them to.

I always take gingerbread stars or reindeer (gingerbread man turned upside down, legs are the antlers, use half a glace cherry for the nose). I use this recipe: https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/gingerbread-bunting

Oh, some lovely ideas - thank you all!

I don't think I've ever wanted pigs in blankets more than this moment...
