Quick pasta bake without white sauce?

I’ve always made a pasta bake with a white sauce but don’t have time for this on weeknights now. What’s a quicker way I can make a creamy pasta bake without having to make a separate sauce? Bonus points if you can put the pasta in uncooked.

@lulugrape you don't say if you don't like a tomato-based sauce, but I do a quick sauce with passata, cream cheese, garlic granules, salt and dried herbs. Mix together in baking dish. Add water and dried pasta, stir. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from over, stir, add protein of choice (I use cooked chicken), top with grated cheese, bake for another 20-25 mins.

the roasting tin cookbooks have a few of these. They usually use crème fraiche I think
